Yes, the mango is growing in a pot.  It produced two
small fruit in 2002 when it was 4 years old.  It's a
seed from a store bought mango, probably mexican.
I split the shell off the seed, put it on some damp
paper towels, covered it with plastic wrap and put it
on top of the water heater during summer (along with
the first of my passiflora seedlings).

I had it in my office for a couple of years and then
took it home.  My wife planted some lemon basil in
with it.  I've added the occasional earthworm to the pot.
It is flowering again now in 2004.  I'll add more pictures
soon.
